After telling mrs. McBride that I wasn't going to use interest i did, and found this amazing art which was on the website that ended up leading me to all different artists. Ronit Bigal is from Isreal and this was part of her portfolio called "body scripture II"
This art really captured my attention because of the perspective of the photography and the bold text on the body. I think the underlying message in her work is possibly the indian ink represents the true lives or "under the skin" of people. The website lead me to believe she possibly quotes many biblical texts in the writing which show the beliefs of the photographed. I like the symmetry in her work and the line the is use that follows the curve of the body. i love the bold and simple composition of the work with unique angles and close ups of the body.
